Terms & Conditions

Version 1.1 · Effective 2026-07-14

1. About Qudo

Qudo (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”) provides online appointment booking and business management software to businesses (“Businesses”) and their customers (“Customers”). We provide the software only; the services booked through it are provided by each Business, not by Qudo.

2. Accounts & eligibility

To register a Business you must provide accurate details and a valid mobile number, and you must be authorised to act for that Business. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Business account.

3. Bookings

When a Customer makes a booking they enter into an arrangement directly with the Business. Booking times, availability, prices and the services offered are set and managed by the Business. Qudo does not guarantee that any slot, price or service will be available or honoured.

4. Deposits, payments & refunds

Some Businesses require a deposit to confirm a booking. Deposits and any final payment are made directly to the Business (for example by LankaQR or bank transfer) and are credited toward the Customer’s bill. Qudo does not collect, hold or process these payments. Refunds, cancellation charges and no-show policies are determined by each Business — please check with the Business before paying.

5. Cancellations & changes

Businesses may allow Customers to cancel or reschedule within limits they set. Businesses may also cancel or change a booking (for example due to staff availability) and will try to notify the Customer where messaging is enabled. Notifications are sent on a best-effort basis and delivery is not guaranteed.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by making fraudulent or spam bookings, attempting to disrupt the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or remove accounts or bookings that breach these terms.

7. Your data & privacy

We process the information you provide (such as name, mobile number and booking details) to operate the Platform — including creating bookings, sending booking-related messages, and sharing necessary details with the relevant Business. Businesses are responsible for their own use of Customer data. We do not sell your personal data.

8. Messaging

By providing your mobile number you agree to receive booking-related SMS and, where you opt in, WhatsApp messages about your bookings. Standard carrier charges may apply. Automated reminders and updates depend on the Business’s plan and may not always be sent.

9. Advertising

Public booking and booking-status pages of Businesses on the free plan may display third-party advertisements (served by Google AdSense). Qudo does not endorse and is not responsible for the products or services advertised. Pages of Businesses on a paid plan do not show ads. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Platform available but provide it “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qudo is not liable for the acts or omissions of any Business, for the quality of services booked, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version and effective date are shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
