Services & working hours

Set services, prices, durations, opening hours and per-staff availability.

Your service menu and your hours are the two facts every booking is built from. Services carry a name in English and Sinhala or Tamil, a duration and a price — and can differ per staff member, because the senior stylist's colour work is not priced like the junior's. Hours come in two layers: when the salon is open, and when each person actually works within that.

Get these right and the booking page can never offer a time that doesn't exist: it composes the salon's hours, the member's shifts, existing bookings and leave into the slots a customer sees. Multi-service visits (cut + colour) book as one appointment with the durations added up.

How to set it up

  1. 1

    Create your services

Settings → Services: name (both languages), duration, price. Customers can pick several for one visit — the page adds up the time.

  2. 2

Set per-staff prices where they differ

A service can carry an override per member — the price follows whoever the customer books.

  3. 3

    Set the salon's opening hours

Settings → Business: opening hours per weekday, plus closures for holidays and Poya. Changes can take effect from a date you choose, so existing bookings are respected.

  4. 4

    Set each member's shifts

Settings → Members: each bookable person's own working hours, drawn against the salon's — the strip shows their shifts inside your open hours at a glance.

  5. 5

    Add deposits per service (Pro+)

A service can require a deposit to book — a share of the price, held until paid. Pair with peak-only mode so it applies only when you are busy.
