Leave & conflicts

Block a day or a few hours — existing bookings are handled safely, no double-ups.

Stylists get sick, weddings happen, machines break. Marking someone away is easy — the hard part is what happens to the bookings already sitting in those hours, and that is exactly what Qudo handles instead of leaving you a list of phone calls.

When leave collides with existing bookings, each one is resolved deliberately: move it to another chair that can do the work, cancel it — the customer is texted that it's cancelled, and your own message, any length, any language, appears on their booking link — or, on Pro+, hand the choice to the customer themselves, whose link then offers new times that actually fit. Nothing is silently dropped, and nothing double-books.

How to set it up

  1. 1

    Block the time

Add leave for a member — a full day or just a few hours. Those slots vanish from the booking page immediately.

  2. 2

    Review the conflicts

If bookings already sat in those hours, the board shows them as conflicts to resolve — nothing is cancelled behind your back.

  3. 3

    Reassign where you can

Move a booking to another chair that offers the same service — the customer gets an SMS naming who they'll see instead.

  4. 4

Hand the choice to the customer (Pro+)

Can't absorb it? Let the customer decide: their link unlocks so they can pick a new time or cancel, cutoffs waived — the salon caused this change, so the rules bend for them.

  5. 5

    Bulk-cancel a closed day

Closing outright? Cancel the day's bookings in one action. Each customer gets the cancellation SMS (on Pro), and your explanation — sick stylist, Poya, anything, in any language — is shown in full on every booking's link. None of it counts against the customers' records, because it wasn't their doing.
