Software for the salons Sri Lanka actually has
Qudo is online booking, live queue and billing software for Sri Lankan service businesses — salons and barbershops first, and anyone else who works from a chair, a bay or a room. It is built in Sri Lanka, for how business is actually done here: walk-ins beside bookings, SMS instead of yet another app to install, Sinhala beside English, and deposits paid by LankaQR straight into the salon’s own bank account — never through us.
Most booking software is built elsewhere and assumes things that aren’t true here: that every customer pays by card, that walk-ins are an edge case, that English is enough, that a monthly fee in dollars is fine. Qudo starts from the opposite end — a one-chair salon can run on it completely free, and paid plans are a flat price per chair, in rupees, with SMS included rather than sold back by the message.
What we believe
- The customer's money is the salon's money. Deposits and payments go directly to the business — by LankaQR or bank transfer. Qudo never sits in the middle of it.
- The customer book belongs to the salon. Your client list, their history, their numbers — yours. Customers who ask the salon not to see their number get that honoured everywhere, and we don't sell anyone's data.
- SMS, not another app. Every customer already has SMS. Confirmations, reminders and bills-by-link all work on any phone, with nothing to download.
- Walk-ins are the business, not an exception. The board treats the customer who just walked in as a first-class citizen beside the one who booked last week.
