Know your regulars

Who comes back, who has stopped coming, and what each customer is worth.

Every customer who ever booked, walked in or bought a bottle — one book: their visits, their spending, their favourite stylist and service, how often they normally come, and whether they reliably turn up. Segments do the thinking: regulars worth keeping happy, new faces worth winning a second visit from, and the ones slipping away — measured against their own rhythm, so a fortnightly customer reads as overdue at three weeks while a twice-a-year one doesn't.

Reliability is judged fairly, which matters: recent behaviour outweighs old, cancellations the salon caused never count against anyone, and a customer who missed twice years ago but has kept thirty visits since reads as what she is — excellent. The book turns that into actions, not verdicts: who to ask for a deposit, who deserves the benefit of the doubt, who is worth one win-back message.

How to set it up

  1. 1

    Open Manage → Customers

The whole book, searchable by name or number, sortable by last visit, total spend, visits or no-shows.

  2. 2

    Work the segments

Regulars, New, Slipping away, Worth a deposit, Blocked — each is a list with a purpose, and the slipping-away list is the cheapest revenue you'll ever recover: one message often brings them back.

  3. 3

    Read a customer's card

Visits, lifetime spend, average ticket, favourite service and stylist, their rhythm, and their reliability with the reason spelled out — evidence, not a verdict.

  4. 4

Act on it at the chair

The board shows each booking's customer standing right on the card — so the deposit conversation happens before you confirm, not after they didn't come.

  5. 5

    Export when you need it

The book exports to CSV for a message campaign or your own records. It is your customer list — Qudo just keeps it.
